Well this is pretty crazy… a representative from Fundamental Data, the organization building the data center in Tucker County, testified that the company essentially wrote HB2014! This is the bill that takes control away from local communities and lets the state put a data center anywhere it wants to.
“We were the guys who basically wrote (HB 2014) and got it through the (West Virginia) Legislature”
The supermajority in Charleston keeps selling West Virginia off to the highest bidder, with no regard for how much it hurts the state. This November we have a chance to vote out the people, including my own opponent in District 78, who pass bills like HB2014.
